LAHORE – Famous singer Naseebo Lal has lodged a complaint against her spouse, Naveed Hussain, accusing him of physical abuse in Shahdara Town on Saturday.

According to reports from local media, the FIR mentions that Naseebo Lal was in her home’s courtyard when her husband arrived and began verbally assaulting her.

She claimed that Naveed grabbed a brick from nearby and struck her in the face, causing significant injuries.

Authorities have initiated an inquiry into the incident.

He transformed their home with floral decorations and fairy lights to surprise Zara, setting a lively and festive tone for her special occasion.

Zara, dressed elegantly in a pink ensemble, made a grand entrance. The celebration was attended by close family and friends, including Zara’s mother, actress Asma Abbasi, adding to the day’s charm. Asad and Zara, who married in December 2017, both entered this union as their second marriages. Previously, Asad was married to Maham in 2014, and Zara was married in 2016, but both relationships ended before they found each other.

Recently, Asad opened up about a challenging period in their lives, revealing that Zara had suffered a miscarriage due to health complications. However, in November 2023, Zara shared the joyful news of her pregnancy once again, and in March 2024, the couple welcomed their daughter, Noor-e-Jahan, marking a new chapter in their journey together.

The Jam Sadiq Bridge, a key link between Korangi Industrial Area and Karachi, has been temporarily closed to all traffic. According to a Traffic Police spokesperson, the bridge will remain inaccessible from March 14 to March 17, between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM daily. This closure is necessary to facilitate ongoing construction work, which requires the suspension of traffic during these hours.

To manage the situation, vehicles traveling from Akhtar Colony to Korangi Industrial Area will be rerouted through Korangi Causeway and SM Muneer Road, leading to Brookes Chowrangi. Likewise, traffic moving from Korangi Industrial Area toward Mahmoodabad will be redirected via Brookes Chowrangi to Surgeon Faiz Muhammad Khan Road.

The Traffic Police have urged commuters to utilize alternate routes to minimize disruptions. Additionally, they have assured the public that enhanced measures will be implemented to provide clear guidance and support during this period.
